12.12.12 Workout of the Day

17 days left until Judgement day (90 day challenge final day)!!! After work in the salon today I couldn’t resist but shake up some Herbalife24 Prepare and go to work in the gym! Yet again, I worked on some of my weakness’ which in this case was pull ups, and core (will always have room for improvement!).

4 Rounds of:
10 bicep pull ups (not strict, toes hit the ground)
10 incline tripod push ups
10 toes to bar (also not strict, toes hit the ground)

Followed by more core, skill work and a fun challenge inspired by a fellow health coach and my Cousin Ryan:

Train Insane or Remain the Same!

Got up and got after it this morning at Fit Club. For those who haven’t had a chance to come out, we are at Garcia Bend every Sunday at 9:00 AM (rain or shine). We are also doing a weight loss challenge, if you haven’t heard about it, check it out here for more information. 

Here is a quick video from today’s Fit Club, we change up the workouts each week to keep everyone challenged, but everyone works out at their own pace. We even had some kids workout with us today, so please join us.

With just 20 days left of my 90 day challenge I’m focusing on my endurance (which is my weakness) mixed with my usual isolation, compound and complex movements. I don’t record my workouts often enough but I was inspired by some fellow health coaches and wanted to share what I did today. It’s rare for me to be able to workout with Justin, so I caught him in action too!

WOD 1: 4 rounds of 24 split jumps, 12 deadlifts (65lbs), 24 grasshoppers and 12 dumbbell push ups.

WOD 2: 5 rounds & 5 reps on each side of one legged pistols with an isolated dumbbell hold.

Justin’s Skill 1 – Isolated barbell hold with leg raise and chest press.

Justin’s skill 2 – Alternating pull-ups

Herbalovers exercise – 10 partner push-ups and chest press

A couple who trains together, looks good together!

Free Fitness Profiles

I haven’t posted on my blog in quite some time. I’ve been really busy with my growing Herbalife business and my other two businesses (hair & personal training) but I wanted to keep everyone updated and will be trying to keep my blog updated with information and events going on with all 3 of my businesses.

Tuff Enuff Bootcamp

Starting May 1st, for 6 weeks, I will doing an outdoor fitness boot camp at Parkway Oaks Park on S. Land Park Drive. Classes will be on Tuesday’s at 6:30 pm and Saturday’s at 9:00 AM.

If you’ve never tried a boot camp, I’ve offered classes for two years and my clients have really enjoyed it. It’s a challenging workout that ANYONE can do. People of all fitness levels can join because I make sure to incorporate a progression of each level of all exercises.
